Getting organized

Have you ever heard the saying a clear mind, is a healthy mind? The saying holds truth in most aspects of staying organized. And what else is likely to hold more value than money?

In todays world there’s more clutter than ever before, and, as a result, it is crucial for people to be able to sort through the load of information and things efficiently enough to spend the most time focussing on what’s relevant. And relevance is the key. What may be relevant to you isn’t necessarily relevant to someone else. For example, you may be an avid writer and would like to create a writing schedule, or maybe you need more help with your spending budget and  could use a little extra help in the financial department.

The good news is, what ever it is that you may need a little extra help with,  there’s most likely an already an app out there to help you out.

Here are a few of my personal favorites:

Mint by Intuit for Finance Management.

This app is super cool because once you have it set up, there’s not much for you to do except for open it to see how well you are doing with your budget. Mint allows you to connect your credit and debit cards to the account to monitor your spending automatically. This way you don’t have to input the information and can spend your time seeing how well you are doing. You simply have to check in to see how much spending you’ve done. It’s a super easy, efficient and reliable way of monitoring your budget.

Google Keep

At work and outside of it, I’ve found that Google Keep is one of the best ways to keep and manage notes. From a grocery list to a to-do task or a random thought, Google Keep has created a perfect platform for documenting all of the wonderful ideas that can come to us as quickly as they can be lost in our memory. Keep allows you to quickly jot down the idea, color code and return to it whenever you’re ready.

30/30

If you’re anything like me, than you may find yourself sinking into the couch for hours, watching TV, or scrolling through social media feeds on your phone. There’s nothing wrong with doing any of those things, but eventually you may find yourself wondering where did all of that free time go? Behold the 30/30 app. It is one of the best things that has happened in the world of time-management. This app let’s you set times to get through tasks and inevitably boosts productivity. It’s like turning your phone into your very own productivity coach. How great is that?

So next time, it seems like there’s too little time and too much to-do. Invest in one of these awesome free-apps and watch the pieces of your life swiftly fall back into place.
