The Return of the SoFA Street Fair

The SoFA Street Fair, one of the things that made San Jose cool in the nineties, is back! On Sunday, thousands of San Joseians gathered on South First Street to enjoy what’s left of summer by drinking some ice cold brews, dancing (or moshing) in the street, and listening to some excellent local music. Indeed, there was something for everyone at the fair. Those of us who are the stay at home type, were able to feel at home perched on one of the couches that lined the street; foodies were able to get their hands on hisptertastic food truck cuisine, and countless tattoos and piercings were a clear sign that there was good music to be heard. All of this and more sums up another good day on South First Street in Downtown San Jose.
