Bacon. Bacon, bacon, bacon. The 2nd annual Bacon Festival was the perfect way to celebrate ‘merica and freedom: the freedom to put bacon on anything and everything. The Bacon Festival took over Caeser Chavez Park in downtown San Jose as well as Market Street, which loops around the park.
On Friday, the takeover of bacon was also met by fantastic forms of entertainment; consisting of music from Yeshua and the Hi-Tones, as well world-class wrestling from Pro -restling Revolution.
But of course, bacon was what truly reigned over the event. Bacon was in everything from cupcakes to pad-thai. My personal favorite was the chocolate covered, bacon ice-cream taco.
